Bevon's Story
A Social Impact Leader and Visionary Innovator
Bevon Joseph, originally from Trinidad and a proud father of four, is a visionary social impact leader, speaker, and podcast host whose career spans over 20 years in information technology, financial services, and a decade of transformative social impact work. With a passion for empowering underserved communities, Bevon has dedicated his life to creating innovative solutions that drive positive change and lasting value for clients, partners, and stakeholders.
As the founder of the Greenwood Project, Bevon’s Mentee Network (BMN), and Impact-Focused Tech Solutions LLC, as well as the Senior Financial Education Advisor (NYC DOE) and Co-Lead of Campus Coin Invest, Bevon’s work focuses on advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) while fostering opportunities for underrepresented individuals and communities. Through Campus Coin Invest, Bevon acts as a key conduit between the NYC Department of Education and Wall Street firms, building strategic partnerships to secure funding, expertise, and innovative tools. This initiative ensures financial literacy programs reach and resonate with students, equipping them with the practical skills and knowledge to confidently navigate their futures.
Over the past decade, Bevon has directly impacted thousands of lives through initiatives that provide access to education, mentorship, and career pathways. From collaborating with the New York City Department of Education to mentoring future leaders, Bevon’s efforts have empowered countless Black and Latinx students to graduate, secure meaningful employment, and transform their futures.
Through his podcast, The Social Capital Guy, and his forthcoming book, Bevon shares his insights on leveraging social capital, building meaningful relationships, and creating inclusive opportunities. His mission is clear: to build a world where every individual has access to the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive and lead with purpose.
